GRFIN Example
Example of GRFIN Inundation Output

The GRFIN yaml generator is a simple python program which creates a yaml file for the USGS GRFIN software to read for inundation modelling using a DEM. The GRFIN yaml generater was created for the CGS for their work in creating county-wide debris flow hazard maps. The GRFIN tool takes over the modelling task of the legacy Laharz model. Using a computationally simple empircal (data-driven) model, GRFIN allows for efficient GRowth, Flow, and INunudation modelling. Find the latest release of GRFIN here. Find the GRFIN-helper tool on the CGS github here.
